Foster 4 Freedom connects DMST (domestic minor sex trafficking) survivors with families who have been trained and are supported to provide safe, trauma-informed care to children and youth who need restoration.  

Who: Stable families who are willing and able to complete TN state foster care certification

Why: “A father to the fatherless… he sets the lonely in families” Psalm 68:5,6. Child survivors need families to help walk the journey of healing with them.

What: C.O.S.T.S. Training is 7th Well’s trauma-informed caregiver training.  C.O.S.T.S. stands for Care of Sexual Trauma/Trafficking Survivors.

Foster 4 Freedom Steps:

  1. Connect: submit an interest form to 7th Well

  2. Certify: train and certify as a TN state foster parent

  3. C.O.S.T.S: attend the 7th well trauma-informed caregiver training

  4. Care: welcome a child into your home!

There are no requirements for previous education or experience. We will provide all the training and the ongoing support you need.
